Grades: 1-8: The Terrific Tuesday choir will have a kick-off party on Wednesday (note the different day), January 24, from 3-4 pm. We will introduce the spring musical, “Soul On Fire!” Come and bring a friend. See Melanie Burns or Sherry Foster for more details.

The Ladies Bible Study starts on January 25, at 8:30 am. We will study God’s Word with Kelly Minters’ study, “No Other Gods.” Please sign up at the Welcome Center today. And bring a friend! See Melanie Burns for more details.

Church Calendar

Pre-Service Prayer: You are welcome to come into the Worship Center each Sunday mornings at 9:00 to pray and intercede for the morning. Enter quietly through the side door in the main hallway. After the service near the platform, a prayer team is available to pray for anyone with any needs.

December 17 ~ A Night of Christmas Worship. Come for a time of uplifting music, prayer and meaningful reflection as we celebrate the Light of the World, Jesus. Childcare is available up through and including age 3. Invite anyone you know who needs a Christmas blessing.

We would love to bless Lisa Surran, our NextGen Director, with a time of fellowship and cards today, as this is Michael’s and her last Sunday with us.  So please plan on staying.

A Parental Dedication of Children is being planned for December. If you are interested in this, please see Pastor Burns or Melanie today.

Senior Adult Fellowship: Our next gathering will be on Friday, December 1, at 12:30 pm. There will be food, games and fellowship. Bring a friend with you. See Sylvia Forte.

Community Clothing Giveaway: December 2, from 10:00 am till noon, at the AABA Storehouse. If you want to help out, call Jenn Young at 694-1497.

The Terrific Tuesday musical, “The Christmas Dream Tree Parade” will be December 2 and 3, at 3 pm each day. Please consider bringing a package of diapers, (sizes 1-6) to support your local mission of Adopt-A-Block. Bring a friend with you.

Southern Aroostook Baptist Men: December 4, at Oakfield Baptist Church. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm. All men are invited.

December 10 Gathering: If you have found your way to The Hill in the last twelve months (or so), please come for a brief time of refreshments, connection and a gift from us! That will be December 10, immediately after the service, in the Conference Room.

Adopt-A-Block of Aroostook

The Mission Tree -“Toys on the Block:” This year, we will provide Christmas gifts or stockings for our neighbors. As you do your Christmas shopping, would you consider buying a toy or stoking stuffers and placing it  (unwrapped) in the boxes in the back of the sanctuary marked Toys for Blocks? Just take a gift tag o your choice off the Giving Tree  in the foyer and return the items by December 5. See Lori Hovey in the foyer today for more information and sign up for helpers for the party.

December 9, Christmas on the Blocks from 3-5 pm. We can use your help! If you want to serve families on our Adopted-Blocks, sign up in the foyer or see Tammy Goetsch.

Children’s & Youth on the Hill
