  • Pre-Service Prayer: You are welcome to come into the Worship Center each Sunday morning at 9 AM to pray and intercede for the morning.  Just enter quietly through the side door in the main hallway. After the service near the platform,  prayer team is available to pray for anyone with any need.
  • Strong Tower Love Run: Due to a very full runner’s schedule this Fall, we have decided to postpone the Strong Tower Love/Walk until Spring 2018. Any questions see Lori Gardiner or Sonya Swallow.
  • Greater Houlton Christian Academy: Annual Harvest Festival & Public Auction: Saturday, October 7. Children’s Fair – 10:00 am; Auction – 11:00 am. For more info call 207-532-0736.

Church Calendar

  • Pre-Service Prayer: You are welcome to come into the Worship Center each Sunday morning at 9 AM to pray and intercede for the morning.  Just enter quietly through the side door in the main hallway. After the service near the platform,  prayer team is available to pray for anyone with any need.
  • Mission & Ministry Celebration: Sunday, September 10: This special worship service will include time to celebrate the many areas of mission and ministry we “get to do” together. There will be an opportunity to share in groups about our own interests in ministry and how we can encourage all to take part. After the service, there will be an all-church potluck & BBQ as well as an opportunity for individuals and families have photos taken for a church directory. Mark your calendar and plan on attending!
  • Israel Tour: Pastor Burns and Melanie are leading a tour May 10-22, 2018 called “Israel, the Beautiful Land – Exploring the 5th Gospel.” There will be an inquiry gathering today, following the service.
  • Worship Ministries: The praise choir will start back up on September 10. If you love to sing and love Jesus, please talk to Pastor Burns or Melanie today. We are looking to add to our projection and sound teams. Will train! If you are interested, see Melanie Burns today.
  • New Ladies’ Bible Study: Consider yourself invited to this new 7-week study, Priscilla Shirer’s “Discerning the Voice of God.” It starts Thursday, September 7, from 8:30-10:30 am, and Sunday, September 10, 5:30-7:00 pm. ANY woman, ANY age, ANY background. The cost is $15. Sign up today at the Welcome Center. Melanie Burns will be the facilitator.
  • Terrific Tuesday Kids’ Choir will start with a Kick-Off Party on September 12, from 3-4 pm. The musical, “The Christmas Dream Team Parade,” will be introduced. All in Grades 1-8 are invited ~ and invite  a friend! Need more info?: melanieb@houltonmsbc.org

AABA Free Clothing Giveaway: September 2, at 10:00 am till noon, at the AABA Storehouse. If you would like to help out, call Jenn Young at 694-1497.

Choices will start on Tuesday, September 12, from 2:45-5 pm. If you can help out with this ministry, please see Lisa Surran or Alison Gooding today.

Also on Tuesday, August 29th, will be the annual Choices pre-registration for kids from 3:30-5:30 pm in the foyer, followed by the Choices volunteer training in the sanctuary from 5:45-6:45. Questions see Lisa Surran or Alison Gooding today.
