Church Calendar

Pre-Service Prayer: You are welcome to come into the Worship Center each Sunday mornings at 9:00 to pray and intercede for the morning. Enter quietly through the side door in the main hallway. After the service near the platform, a prayer team is available to pray for anyone with any needs.

We would love to bless Lisa Surran, our NextGen Director, with a card shower on Sunday, November 26, her and Michael’s last Sunday with us. She has meant so much to so many of us for the sake of the Kingdom, and will be one way we express our gratitude to her.

Community Thanksgiving Service: St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Tuesday, November 21, at 7:00 pm. Come and give thanks to God for His many awesome blessings. Please bring canned goods and a free will offering to bless the Food Pantry, the Salvation Army fuel fund, and the Southern Aroostook Ministerial emergency fund.

A Parental Dedication of Children is being planned for December. If you are interested in this, please see Pastor Burns or Melanie today.

Senior Adult Fellowship: Our next gathering will be on Friday, December 1, at 12:30 pm. There will be food, games and fellowship. Bring a friend with you. See Sylvia Forte.

Southern Aroostook Baptist Men: December 4, at Oakfield Baptist Church. Dinner is served at 6:30 pm. All men are invited.

Community Clothing Giveaway: December 2, from 10:00 am till noon, at the AABA Storehouse. If you want to help out, call Jenn Young at 694-1497.

The Terrific Tuesday musical, “The Christmas Dream Tree Parade” will be December 2 and 3, at 3 pm each day. Please consider bringing a package of diapers, (sizes 1-6) to support your local mission of Adopt-A-Block. Bring a friend with you.

December 10 Gathering: If you have found your way to The Hill in the last twelve months (or so), please come for a brief time of refreshments, connection and a gift from us! That will be December 10, immediately after the service, in the Conference Room.

Adopt-A-Block of Aroostook

The Mission Tree -“Toys on the Block:” This year, we will provide Christmas gifts or stockings for our neighbors. As you do your Christmas shopping, would you consider buying a toy or stoking stuffers and placing it  (unwrapped) in the boxes in the back of the sanctuary marked Toys for Blocks? Just take a gift tag o your choice off the Giving Tree  in the foyer and return the items by December 5. See Lori Hovey in the foyer today for more information and sign up for helpers for the party.

Strong Tower Orphanage

Mission Tree Giving: This is the last week for the Mission Tree for STO.

Please help all the leaves “fall off the tree.” Choose a leaf off the tree and put the mark dollar amount in the envelope, then desposti it into the locked box located next to the tree or put in the offering plate. All donations received with help Strong Tower continue to serve orphans in Haiti (see Mission Tree for more info).

Strong Tower Orphanage

Mission Tree Giving: From October 15, through Orphan Sunday on November 12, Strong Tower Orphanage will be the focus of the Mission Tree. If you would like to help Strong Tower, choose a leaf off the tree and put the marked dollar amount in the envelope then deposit it into the locked box located next to the tree or put it in the offering plate. All donations received will help Strong Tower continue to serve orphans in Haiti (see Mission Tree for more information).

Strong Tower Orphanage

Mission Tree Giving: From October 15, through Orphan Sunday on November 12, Strong Tower Orphanage will be the focus of the Mission Tree. If you would like to help Strong Tower, choose a leaf off the tree and put the marked dollar amount in the envelope then deposit it into the locked box located next to the tree or put it in the offering plate. All donations received will help Strong Tower continue to serve orphans in Haiti (see Mission Tree for more information).
